Moissanite is a diamond alternative that is most commonly desired in colorless varieties (like diamonds), but sometimes the crystals grow in natural colors like green and grey. Ourhand carved Evergreen 14k yellow gold dainty prong setting holds theapprox. 7.8mm moissanite. *We recommend this setting for those who are not hard on their jewelry. If you know you wear your jewelry hard, we would recommend this setting in a thicker style. This moissanite is the size equivalent to a traditional 1.75ct diamond. The clarity and sparkle of these stones is superb- they sparkle with unique green, blue, red and yellow rainbow flashes that moissanite produce so well.

We've set the diamond in our signature Evergreen carved solitaire: a 4-prong setting with hand carved detail, cast in 100% recycled 14krose gold. The ring currently has apolished finish. We cangive it a brushed finish for you instead by request.

The textured, carved band of the ring measures about 1.8mm-1.9mm wide and is fully rounded for comfort.The ring is currently a size6.5 and is resizable for a small fee. Once resized, however, it is non refundable. Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks for resizing.

About Moissanite:

A century ago, Nobel Prize winner Dr. Henri Moissan discovered minute quantities of a new mineral in an ancient meteorite in Arizona. At its essence was the potential for an absolutely shimmering brilliance, fire, luster, and incredible hardness.
